Stasis I
Psalm 109A Psalm of David.
The Lord said to my Lord, Sit Thou on my right hand, until I make Thine enemies Thy footstool.
The Lord shall send out a rod of power for Thee out of Sion: rule Thou in the midst of Thine enemies.
With Thee is dominion in the day of Thy power, in the splendors of Thy saints: I have begotten Thee from the womb before the morning.
The Lord swore, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever, after the order of Melchisedec.
The Lord at Thy right hand hath dashed in pieces kings in the day of His wrath.
He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill up the number of corpses, He shall crush the heads of many on the earth.
He shall drink of the brook in the way; therefore shall He lift up the head.
Psalm 110Alleluia.
I will give Thee thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart, in the council of the upright, and in the congregation.
The works of the Lord are great, sought out according to all His will.
His work is worthy of thanksgiving and honor: and His righteousness endureth for ever and ever.
He hath caused His wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is merciful and compassionate.
He hath given food to them that fear Him: He will remember His covenant for ever.
He hath declared to His people the power of His works, to give them the inheritance of the heathen.
The works of His hands are truth and judgment: all His commandments are sure:
established for ever and ever, done in truth and uprightness.
He sent redemption to His people: He commanded His covenant for ever: holy and fearful is His name.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and all that act accordingly have a good understanding; His praise endureth for ever and ever.
Psalm 111Alleluia.
Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord: he will delight greatly in his commandments.
His seed shall be mighty in the earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
Glory and riches shall be in his house; and his righteousness endureth for evermore.
To the upright light hath sprung up in darkness: he is pitiful, and merciful, and righteous.
The good man is he that pitieth and lendeth: he will direct his affairs with judgment.
For he shall not be moved for ever; the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
He shall not be afraid of any evil report: his heart is ready to trust in the Lord.
His heart is established, he shall not fear, till he shall see his desire upon his enemies.
He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for evermore: his horn shall be exalted with honor.
The sinner shall see and be angry, he shall gnash his teeth, and consume away: the desire of the sinner shall perish.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
both now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, glory to Thee, O God. (Thrice)
Lord, have mercy. Lord, have mercy. Lord, have mercy.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
both now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

Psalm 112Alleluia.
Praise the Lord, ye servants of His, praise the name of the Lord.
Let the name of the Lord be blessed, from this present time and for ever.
From the rising of the sun to his setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised.
The Lord is high above all the nations; His glory is above the heavens.
Who is as the Lord our God? who dwelleth in the high places,
and yet looketh upon the low things in heaven, and on the earth:
who lifteth up the poor from the earth, and raiseth up the needy from the dunghill;
to set him with princes, even with the princes of His people:
who settleth the barren woman in a house, as a mother rejoicing over children.
Psalm 113Alleluia.
At the going forth of Israel from Egypt, of the house of Jacob from a barbarous people,
Judea became His sanctuary, and Israel His dominion.
The sea saw and fled: Jordan was turned back.
The mountains skipped like rams, and the hills like lambs.
What ailed thee, O sea, that thou didst flee? and thou Jordan, that thou wast turned back?
Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams, and ye hills, like lambs?
The earth trembled at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
who turned the rock into pools of water, and the flint into fountains of water.
Psalm 114
Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to Thy name give glory, because of Thy mercy and Thy truth;
lest at any time the nations should say, Where is their God?
But our God hath done in heaven and on earth, whatever He hath pleased.
The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the works of men's hands.
They have a mouth, but they cannot speak; they have eyes, but they cannot see:
they have ears, but they cannot hear; they have noses, but they cannot smell;
they have hands, but they cannot handle; they have feet, but they cannot walk: they cannot speak through their throat.
Let those that make them become like to them, and all who trust in them.
The house of Israel trusteth in the Lord: He is their helper and defender.
The house of Aaron trusteth in the Lord: He is their helper and defender.
They that fear the Lord trust in the Lord: He is their helper and defender.
The Lord hath remembered us, and blessed us: He hath blessed the house of Israel, He hath blessed the house of Aaron.
He hath blessed them that fear the Lord, both small and great.
The Lord add blessings to you and to your children.
Blessed are ye of the Lord, who made the heaven and the earth.
The heaven of heavens belongeth to the Lord: but He hath given the earth to the sons of men.
The dead shall not praise Thee, O Lord, nor any that go down to Hades.
But we, the living, will bless the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.
Amen.

Psalm 115Alleluia.
I am well pleased, because the Lord will hearken to the voice of my supplication.
Because He hath inclined His ear to me, therefore will I call upon Him while I live.
The pangs of death compassed me; the dangers of hell found me: I found affliction and sorrow.
Then I called on the name of the Lord: O Lord, deliver my soul.
The Lord is merciful and righteous; yea, our God hath pity.
The Lord preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and He delivered me.
Return to thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.
For He hath delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
I shall be well-pleasing before the Lord in the land of the living.
I believed, therefore have I spoken: but I was greatly afflicted.
And I said in mine amazement, Every man is a liar.
What shall I render to the Lord for all the things wherein He hath rewarded me?
I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.
I will pay my vows to the Lord, in the presence of all His people.
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.
O Lord, I am Thy servant; I am Thy servant, and the son of Thy handmaid: Thou hast burst my bonds asunder.
I will offer to Thee the sacrifice of praise, and will call upon the name of the Lord.
I will pay my vows to the Lord, in the presence of all His people,
in the courts of the Lord's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem.
Psalm 116Alleluia.
Praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise Him, all ye peoples.
For His mercy hath been abundant toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever.
Psalm 117Alleluia.
Give thanks to the Lord; for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever.
Let now the house of Israel say, that He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever.
Let now the house of Aaron say, that He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever.
Let now all that fear the Lord say, that He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever.
I called on the Lord out of affliction: and He hearkened unto me, so as to bring me into a wide place.
The Lord is my helper; and I will not fear what man shall do to me.
The Lord is my helper; and I shall see my desire upon mine enemies.
It is better to trust in the Lord than to trust in man.
It is better to hope in the Lord, than to hope in princes.
All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
They completely compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
They compassed me about as bees do a honeycomb, and they burst into flame as fire among thorns: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
I was thrust, and sorely shaken, that I might fall: but the Lord helped me.
The Lord is my strength and my song, and is become my salvation.
The voice of exultation and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord hath wrought mightily.
The right hand of the Lord hath exalted me: the right hand of the Lord hath wrought powerfully.
I shall not die, but live, and recount the works of the Lord.
The Lord hath chastened me sore: but He hath not given me up to death.
Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and give praise to the Lord.
This is the gate of the Lord: the righteous shall enter by it.
I will give Thee thanks; because Thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner.
This hath been done of the Lord; and it is wonderful in our eyes.
This is the day which the Lord hath made: let us exult and rejoice in it.
O Lord, save now: O Lord, send now prosperity.
Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
God is the Lord, and He hath shined upon us: celebrate the feast with thick branches, binding the victims even to the horns of the altar.
Thou art my God, and I will give Thee thanks: Thou art my God, and I will exalt Thee. I will give Thee thanks, for Thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
Give thanks to the Lord; for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever.
Amen.
